Halifax police won’t walk in this year’s Pride Parade
The Halifax Regional Police will not participate in this year’s Pride Parade. In a Monday news release, police stated they will increase participation overall but the decision to not be in the parade was a mutual one between them and Halifax Pride. The HRP said this was due to a national debate about police participation in pride parades.
